Vintage glass buttons
Hi its Toby here I've just come back from camp so sorry I haven't posted for ages. I've been down to the flea market today and bought some lovely glass buttons. Any ideas on how old they might be?
There are any number of books out there on vintage buttons that can help you date what you've got there. I spent a number of years addicted to buttons. I still have jars and jars of them. The older ones especially are like minature works of art.
Hi Toby, Kamal says thanks for your comment and visiting his blog, and we both think your blog is great and you are very talented. Hope you sells lots of jewellery!
These are great buttons Toby, what a find! I'm not sure of their age either but they look pretty old to me. I'm glad you liked the buttons I sent you ;-)
They look quite small, I wonder if they are Victorian? They had lots of buttons of course, especially decorative ones, for all the fastenings down the back of dresses. They are lovely.
Oh my Goodness, Toby, I've just remembered I owe you a cheque for a bracelet!!!! Sorry about that, will get it uin the post right away!
Hi everyone thanks for all your comments!! My dad's just won some buttons on eBay for me. Can't wait to be opening more packages full of buttons!! From TOBY!

Hope you had a lovely time on camp. Those buttins are lovely, afraid though I don't know the age.
