Half a derelict house

This is my latest fabric sketch. The pale blue is a terraced house and the darker fabric it's next door nieighbour, the pink is the door and the patch next to it and the leather patch are the windows. The 'patchworky bits are where the pebble dash is cracking and the red wool is where it has been fenced off.
Hope you like it,
Toby.

These sketches are great, real works of art in themselves. I wouldn't know where to begin with something like this and I've used a sewing machine for years!

I do love it when people can do clever things with fabric. All that happens for me is my sowing machines gets in an awfull tangle and I spend ages sorting it out.

Thanks Coco, neither Laurence or I know anything about sewing machines, cant even thread one up, so we are no help to Toby at all, he just has to experiment by himself. Thats a good tip about the needles, we will buy some more in diffenent sizes and see what happens.
Thanks!
Penny.

These "sketches" keep getting better and better. I will have to scan in some of my clothes and start using more fabrics in my pictures too. They woud make nice bags with beaded straps maybe?
