I recently bought these lovely glass buttons, and flower braid, at my local antiques 'place' www.picturehouseantiques.co.uk .

Yes, Toby does use some of his special buttons for jewellery, although he has a little treasure chest where he keeps his favourites, just to look at!
He tends to keep the more unusual vintage buttons for brooches or for the knotted style (similar to 'By the seaside'set) necklaces, or for commissions when people choose the buttons and colours themselves.
