Bedroom

Toby made a model in wood, of a bedroom, in his Design and Technology lesson at school. He bought it home to decorate, painted it white all over, make the bedding, rope ladder up to the raised circular bed, all the bits and pieces. The wardrobe door has a button for a handle, what a suprise!!

This is a wonderful model. I would love a bedroom like this. Toby has a future in design doesn't he?

I hope your mum and Laurence are recovering well and that Toby has a great birthday :-)

Cool bedroom, Toby! I like the way you snuck a button in there! Full marks! You can come and decorate our bedroom if you like...only trouble it's a 'little bit' bigger. :-D LOL!

I remember my kids having to do this project at school - their attempts weren't as good as this! Well done!

Nifty!

My brother does this sort of thing IRL for IKEA these days.

Hi Soozcat, does your brother have a website or blog? I would love to see his work.
I am always interested in other people who create commercially as this is what I do in my drawing and illustration work, creating to brief and what will sell, not necessarily what I like myself.

Alas, my brother does not have a blog. He does have a website, completely unrelated to his IKEA job, where he makes and sells costumes. That site can be found at http://www.ravensmoonreplicas.com/

D'OH! I am a dork. I haven't been out there in ages and I gave you the wrong URL.

http://www.ravensmoon.com

Try that one instead. Apparently I need to do some light housekeeping and remove the cobwebs from my brain.

Thanks Soozcat, how strange, seems like Toby is like a mini version of your brother then, what with the models and the jewellery!!
Had a look at the website, I love some of the chain he uses. I can add a link here if he would like me to?
