Nymolle

Hi,
The other day i found this really cute little danish Nymolle plate in an R.S.P.C.A. charity shop for £1.25. The detail is wonderfully quirky. I like the trees best as they are quite abstract, but mum likes the rectangular little flower sized cows!!!!
Does anyone know anything about Nymolle?
Anyone got any they want to swap for some jewellery?!?!
I can feel yet another collection coming on!
Toby.

Gorgeous plate Toby - I like the cows too! We do a lot of car-booting, I'll keep an eye open for more of the same.

What a fantastic plate Toby, I have never heard of the manufacturers before. The detail on the plate is lovely. I can image putting food on it for a young child and encouraging them to eat up to see the bus driving along its route.

Sorry upon closer examination I see it is a car not a bus!

Hi Daisy lupin,
I think it would have to be a very small child as the plate is only about 10 cms across!

very nice plate indeed. i ran across your post on a nymolle websearch. check out ebay. it is highly collectible and you have found yourself a great bargain at that price. i believe yours is a vintage hoyrup art faience from denmark mid-century time frame and a limited edition. good luck in your new addition to the collecting side of your personality! -- mark in atlanta GA.
