It has been busy here over the Easter holidays!
Here is the latest 'Attrills' collection, 'FLORAL MEMORIES'

The top pic shows the card Toby created in Photoshop for the shop window, then you can see the window display, following that, photo's of the actual jewellery.
It's only a small collection, 2 necklaces, one bracelet and one pair of earrings, all created by Toby, using vintage beads, copper, sterling silver and reclaimed chains, and featuring vintage bone china floral centre pieces on both necklaces. The pansy necklace is unusual having one side copper chain and the other sterling silver.

Matisse and Kandinsky

It's the school Easter holidays so I took Toby to London on the train to visit his Grandad. On the way through central London we went to From Russia exhibition at The Royal Academy, click on this link to read about it:
http://www.royalacademy.org.uk/exhibitions/from-russia/about-the-exhibition,500,AR.html

As usual we also did a tour of all the charity shops around Muswell Hill, Highgate and Archway where Toby collected more treasures to recycle, reuse and reinvent in his creations - watch this space!

Returned home to find a suprise present had arrived in the post, Erik Satie cd, and thought I would say a big THANK YOU here on our blog, if you want to find out who it was from click here

discs.

These are polymer clay discs i have created to use in a new collection of jewellery. I made these with various colours of hand-marbled clay, and millifiore canes, which i rolled out flat, and cut into shape. After baking, i drilled holes in them, some like buttons and others as charms.

Knitty..........

I recently paid to go on an evening class to make a knitted wire bracelet at B'dz the local bead shop.I made the bracelet using a knitting dolly, 28 gauge pink wire, some reclaimed faux pearls, and a green glass bead. The knitted part is a bit wonky, but my technique should improve over time!
